Acidophilus

is a probiotic, or the natural bacteria that line your intestinal tract. It is important to repopulate your body with normal flora when you are taking antibiotics, have had issues with diarrhea, or have leaky gut syndrome. There are several types of probiotics that we carry. The most basic is simply acidophilus. Allerdophilus works in a similar fashion, but is designed for allergic individuals. Kyodophilus is a chewable form, that works well for young children. Supremadophilus is my personal favorite. It contains normal flora, FOS which is basically food to help the normal bacteria grow, and colostrum which helps to heal leaky gut. Any of the probiotics are useful for individuals with yeast or candida problems. When yeast is an issue, probiotics work well in conjunction with Candex, lactoferrin, oregamax, and Buffer pH.
