Alpha lipoic acid

Helps to increase glutathione in the liver. It supplies a sulfur group to the body. It is also one of the few antioxidants that are able to work in both the water and the fat phases in the body. As a result it is able to help with oxidized cholesterol. It is often used in conjunction with other sulfur containing supplements for heavy metal detoxification. It is also a helpful supplement for blood sugar issues.
