Chamomile

is traditionally used as a calming herb, and for help with sleep especially in children. It is actually a natural source of calcium. However, chamomile also helps to control MAPkinase which is an enzyme involved in triggering inflammation as a result of calcium influx. There is some indication that MAP kinase is involved in the involuntary movement (L.P.) seen in individuals with Parkinson's disease that are taking medication. Chamomile may help to alleviate some of those symptoms. This is a good supplement for those who are concerned about their calcium intake ,yet at the same time would like to prevent inflammation as a result of calcium.
