Curcumin

This is one of my favorite supplements. It can act as a natural cox 2 inhibitor which means that it should be useful to help control inflammation and arthritis. I find that it works nicely as part of a "trio" along with boswellia and nettle. Curcumin has also been reported to be helpful in preventing colon cancer and skin cancer. It serves as a methyl donor which is important for conditions of undermethylation-such as allergies, leaky gut, and cancer. There are reports in the literature that curcumin is able to prevent or help with conditions related to prions such as Mad Cow Disease.
