Schwabe Press Release, July 27, 2000
has been reported to increase blood flow to the brain and to protect from damage due to nitric oxide. It may also help to slow the breakdown of dopamine as it has been reported to act as an MAO-B inhibitor. Based on this possible function it should help with ADD and Parkinson's. I prefer not to suggest ginkgo in individuals with blood pressure issues.
