Caffeine Link in Parkinson's Bolstered
Science Vol 292, May 18, 2001
this nutritional supplement has many times the level of caffeine found in coffee. Caffeine is not always a negative. I have found it to be helpful for many individuals with migraine headaches. There is also information to suggest that caffeine can help with apoptosis, or programmed cell death that is necessary to aid in tumor or cancer surveillance. This can be looked at as a natural "pruning process" that your body goes through, similar to the concept of pruning dead branches off trees in your yard. There have been reports that caffeine can replace the function of p53 in terms of its role in apoptosis.
