Fenugreek- This supplement will help support the gut, increase milk production for breast-feeding and help balance sugar levels. When used as part of the diet it may support healthy social interactions and social language when working with autistic children.
Feverfew- This herb has been used successfully by individuals with migraine headaches.
Fish Oil- Fish oil is helpful for maintaining triglyceride levels and cholesterol levels that are already in the normal range, particular when used with a general cholesterol support program.
Folic Acid- While folic acid is generally included in most B complexes, it is worth considering additional supplementation of this particular B vitamin. Folic acid helps to reduce homocysteine. High levels of homocysteine do not promote heart health. Folic acid is important in helping to prevent neural tube defects. It is also involved in the important methylation pathways in the body. In some cases, alternative sources of folic acid are necessary due to blocks in the pathway of folate metabolism. In these cases the use of FolaPro (5 methyl folate), and or Folinic Acid should be considered.
